Attests that Mary Ann Will Fiercely Defend Animal Protections

“I am proud to have earned Mass Voters for Animals endorsement,” said Stewart. “I believe animals deserve respect, care, concern, and love. Included in that is often the need to protect them from harmful and cruel treatment.”
Of Mary Ann, Marge Peppercorn, spokesperson for the organization said “We feel that Mary Ann stands out as a person who truly cares about animal welfare and someone who would be a strong state house advocate for animal protection and the prevention of cruelty.”
Massachusetts Voters for Animals is the nonpartisan political arm of the animal protection movement in Massachusetts and the only animal organization in the Commonwealth that can influence elections for animal protection. Their goal is to aid candidates who support animal welfare.
