I aspire to zero-waste fashion production in my shop and use a couple of strategies to achieve this: creative pattern-making that uses 100% of a given material, and generating garments from remnant materials.

I do a combination of the two.

Scrappy Monster Dolls are made from a variety of fabric scraps, machine- and hand-stitched together.

They’re between 10 and 14 inches tall, and are 4 to 6 inches wide, just right for tucking into bed with a little one for a night-time story.

The filling is Cotton/Poly, but more and more the remaining smaller scraps of fabric are being mixed in and are also tossed into making paper.

Vintage buttons. No two are alike. More HERE.
