On the road again/ I just can’t wait to get on the road again/ The life I love is makin’ music with my friends/ And I can’t wait to get on the road again
~ Willie Nelson
I’m on the road again!
While it’s hardly the worst winter we’ve had, I’m on my way down to South Carolina again to keep company with my mother-in-law for a while.
The first leg of the drive got me safely onto the NJTP and into overnight accommodations.
The next day was a most rewarding sunny drive to Richmond VA. It’s sweet balm for my soul to catch up with my loves there.
I missed seeing Lee this time around, but I’m always excited to stop in and jam with my fam 💕
Next stop, South Carolina!

As a child, he played in the parterre “nestled amid the houses” that is now the Linden Row Inn. When he was 27 years old, Poe married Virginia Eliza Clemm of Richmond VA on May 16, 1836.
