Pikes Peak claims the view from historic Manitou Springs CO. The famous Manitou Incline “was built as a cable car to carry materials to built pipelines on Pikes Peak“. My phone camera couldn’t capture it so please do read more about it at the embedded link above.
I had been chasing Spring all along the way and it was delightful seeing blooms in trees and gardens here.
I was also charmed by the decorative street banners created by the Town’s K-12 students.
We spent a couple of hours walking about and popping into shops for a look at everything from handmade tees to jewelry and furniture before heading to Denver. More photos here.
